ICP-MS Method Validation Study of Iridium, Palladium, Platinum, Rhodium and Ruthenium in Polyethylene Glycol 3350 Utilizing USP <233>
In December 2015, the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) general chapters <232> and <233>, and the nutritional supplement chapter <2232> will replace <231> Heavy Metals. With this change, USP is advocating a risk-based strategy to ensure compliance with the limits of elemental impurities present in drug and nutritional products. To assist in providing helpful information as the compliance deadline draws near, R.D. Laboratories has conducted the ICP-MS method validation study detailed below to verify the determination method for five catalyst metals.
