Melting Range
R. D. Laboratories, Inc. utilizes a Thomas Hoover Capillary melting range apparatus that is compliant for compendial melting point/melting range determinations. The Thomas Hoover Capillary melting point apparatus has the advantage of being able to tightly control not only the temperature near the melt points, but also the rate of rise of the temperature (temperature gradient). R. D. Laboratories also has the necessary equipment to conduct Class II and Class III determinations.
