Limit Tests
Limit tests include but are not limited to aluminum, arsenic, chloride, sulfate, dimethylaniline, 4-epianhydrotetracycline, heavy metals, iron, lead, mercury, readily carbonizable substances, residue on ignition and selenium. Many other monograph specific tests are also utilized, and are too numerous to list. They are frequently used to control specific impurities at predetermined levels.
