Vendor Qualification
Vendor qualification is an extremely important part of any supplier or manufacturer quality program. Ideally, an independent contract laboratory such as R. D. Laboratories will qualify every material going into a product, including raw materials, active drug substances, packaging, solvents and any other processing reagents. This will ensure cGMP compliance and help prevent problems with supplier quality inadequacy. It is important to know the source manufacturer for each material, not just the supplier.
