Atomic Absorption
R. D. Laboratories, Inc. utilizes a GBC Avanta atomic absorption instrument for a variety of elements. USP, EP, BP, JP, FCC & client specified methods are performed using NIST traceable standards. Also offered is a hydride generator for the determination of mercury by cold vapor and analysis of arsenic, selenium and other hydride-forming elements at ppb levels. We use a GBC GF3000 graphite furnace attachment which allows for trace element determinations at ppb levels for elements other than those measurable by cold vapor. In many instances, graphite furnace provides the most sensitive technique available for trace metals analyses.
